Personally, I think Thinking is a Good Thing.
I call on the Powers That Be to institute a World Thinking Day for everyone.
Just think, if some of the Great and Good had spent more time thinking than doing how much better things could be.

How on earth can the examination boards propose to drop oral examinations from GCSE’s, etc.
Most folk need to talk in a foreign language. Not many need to read books or write letters.
And if they drop these tests then the memorable rehearsed sentences like ‘Mein Buertelmaus hat Verstopfung’ serve no further purpose!

So, I’m back in Germany. $ky News is covering the Northern Rock nationalisation, elections and everything else. Strikes me that if you pay your advisors a bundle of cash and they tell you that the sums offered are too low then you take their advice????
