The sun was out yesterday evening so the public areas on the banks of the Rhine were full of people sitting around watching the world go by. Its a shame that the weather in the UK doesn’t lend itself to more sitting and watching. I’m sure we’d all feel better.

I attended the Guides Swimming Gala tonight with No.1 Child. Very competitive and pretty good really. One Brownie was exceptional. Fastest swimmer in any age group by my reckoning. Funny Sight

Old woman walking her small Jack Russel terrier down the road. Dog wants to relieve itslef but owner doesn’t notice. Dog squats, only to be moved along on its tender bits by the woman pulling the lead!
