OK, we are in Madrid. We have a house contract signed, but we can’t move in until later in the week. We need to buy things – fridge, TV, washing machine, etc.
The weather continues warm and sunny. Clouds have been seen. The mountains have snow on them.

… is wet. Very wet. And grey. Like a really bad November in England. And full of people selling rip off souvenirs.
It’s beautiful in parts and well worth the visit.
But it makes you wince everytime you buy anything.
Mind you, the Louvre is spectacular.
Stayed at local hotel last night – great value for DBB. Today was more phone calls to see how things are progressing, what issues we’ve run into and what we need to fix next … It’s all a nightmare.
We still have no confirmed date for signing, which means no date for moving and [...]
So far, so good.
Boxes piled high and being loaded. This end seems to be working. The other end …
It’s not going to plan. We don’t have a confirmed house, we don’t have a signed lease and we don’t know where we are staying …
Oh, what fun
A couple of weeks and we’ll be in Spain. Two weeks today, actually.
It’s all mad, too much to do, no time left and not enough finally sorted.
It’s a hard thing, moving.
