Swine Flu

So Britain is ‘gripped’ by swine flu. So doI travel back in August or do I hide like a Gruffalo to avoid infection, therefore missing the football, friends and family?

Barcelona here I come

At least I am on the bus to the airport to get the airbus to Barcelona to get a train to Tarragona. So far so good and less scary than expected but there is still time ….

Film trailers

At home, trailers are carefully matched to the feature. In Spain it would appear things are different. Nudity and sex abounded before Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince which made for an interesting few minutes.

Spain is different

It isn’t often in my life that I have considered 30 celsius as warm and 27 as pleasantly cool. But I do now. And the cinema is underground in a long thin room with no drop in the seat height from row to row. It’s differerent but fun

Mad in Madrid

Madrid is a good night out. Tapas and booze interspersed with chocolate and churros is great. The gay rights march made for a colourful crowd but the boy with breasts was a little too much.
