An evening I’m Cordoba

I’d been told that Cordoba was a city not to be missed. A rival to Seville and a true representation of non-tourist Spain. The AVE was good as ever and we arrived to a pleasant square. Modern hotel adds to the favourable impression.

First Snow

The weather here has changed and got cold. More clouds but still bright iyswim but this morning saw the first snow on the mountains to the north.
Still got to 19c though and it was a holiday again. Not too shabby.

Freedom to be a dork?

Elsewhere I’ve been following a blog about diversity and it seems to
polarise opinion. Most people seem to wander along commenting nicely but sometimes you get a post that suggests otherwise.
When does expressing an opinion become just expressing yourself as an intolerant, opinionated dork? Are there any rules out there?

Christmas comes slowly in Madrid

It is bonfire night so not much happening in Spain as you
might imagine. And then I noticedthst the shops are just gearing up for Christmas. Shelves are being shufflesd about and stock is being put out but how cool is it that the Anglo-Saxon frenzy for shopping isn’t in evidence?
