It was dull, grey and overcast when the plane landed, which turned into an incandescent blue rage when quoted 55 Euros for the taxi from Linate to the City.
55 Euros!!!!
In the end, the white taxi turned in a metered fare of 17 Euro including tax.
So, when in Meeelan, avoid the un-metered cabs.

Pecs in Hungary is a really delightful place.
It’s off the beaten track but still well worth a trip if you can.

Travels again, this time to Central Europe. Budapest is a great City. Really interesting history and architecture with a different culture and language makes for an enjoyable visit at any time of year.

Always check customs arrangements before flying. It saves lots of fun at airport security especially when you try to bring unsealed booze through the EU!
Also, avoid wearing a watch when going through security and wear trousers without metal. That way you look less of a tit.
