So after too long, I’ve finally got around to loading the app and being able to blog on the go. I’m off to Russia, for the first time, with work. It’s a bit strange. It’s not a country I’ve had much experience of apart from a couple of books. I’ve met a couple of Russians [...]

When travelling through airport security, it is worth considering what you are carrying. An award, consisting of a round ball connected to a solid metal block by a threaded bolt in a bag containing cables and stuff is likely to lead to the following: Bemused looks Several passes of the bag through the x-ray machine [...]

Well, we do eventually. It’s a LONG drive for a game of football. Too far, in retrospect, but still fun. A couple of delays, a detour, a couple of stops and we arrive in Berlin to meet a traffic jam. The best bit is that this affords a great view of a poor version of [...]

Pecs in Hungary is a really delightful place. It’s off the beaten track but still well worth a trip if you can.

Travels again, this time to Central Europe. Budapest is a great City. Really interesting history and architecture with a different culture and language makes for an enjoyable visit at any time of year. And now the Police have made things better with their ‘Police’s Tourist Guide’. I especially like the article on getting fleeced in [...]
