Word of the Day
As an aid to our International Friends, unblessed with the richness of Native English, I’ve decided to start a Word of the Day page. Now, a word may appear one day, some days may see several words and some will be blank. Such is life.
But you get the drift!
First Word
Yer Man
An exclamation of connected-ness, although not in a Biblical sense.
Such as ‘Yer Man will get you a beer’ when referring to a bar tender. Or Where’s Yer Man when enquiring of someone’s colleague.

Term of (probable) endearment aimed towards people.
For example ‘How do, Daft Lad’.
Sometimes used to describe those who are off with the fairies.
E.g. ‘He’s a right Daft Lad. No idea if he should pee or if it is Thursday’.
